Five-axis cutting detail on a polished mold tool

World Leader of Zero Tolerance Plastic Injection Molds in 6 Weeks

One Source

Everything important stays in one tooling path.

From first quote review to final shipment approval, OMI keeps design, offshore build execution, sampling, inspection, and customer communication connected.

One Source

The all-around tooling package, without the handoff fog.

OMI brings the pieces together: product review, moldflow, tool design, China-based build oversight, production-condition sampling, inspection documentation, final teardown, and shipment preparation. Each phase feeds the next instead of disappearing into a separate sourcing lane. The result is a smoother offshore build process, helped by logistics partners and nearby tooling suppliers that keep critical resources close to the work instead of waiting on distant backorder channels.

Build path

From product idea to production-ready mold.

The sequence is simple on purpose. OMI keeps each phase visible so the customer can approve the right decisions at the right time and receive a tool with fewer unknowns.

01

Program Review

OMI reviews part data, press requirements, material, tolerances, cosmetics, timing, and tooling assumptions before the mold path is framed.

02

Moldflow & 3D Design

Design and moldflow review refine the tool concept, cooling approach, cavitation, steel decisions, and 3D design package for customer approval.

03

Tool Build & Assembly

Steel, components, machining, bench work, and assembly move through direct oversight by OMI's China-based team.

04

Sampling & FAI

Tools are sampled under production conditions with process sheets, first article inspection reports, and reviewable sample feedback.

05

Final Teardown & Release

The mold is disassembled, measured, reviewed by mold inspectors, reassembled, protected, and prepared for shipment after release.
